Assam Agriculture Department has released a recruitment notification for the recruitment of 20 Programme Officer, Accounts Officer & Media Expert vacancy on contractual basis in the Directorate of Agriculture on contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates may apply here.

1. Programme Officer
No of posts: 9

Educational Qualification & Working Experience: The requisite qualification of the Programme Officer must be M.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognised institute having minimum 3(three) years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: The Programme Officer must have expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware computer systems.

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential.
Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month

Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 21 years of age as on 1st January’2021.

2. Accounts Officer
No of posts: 4

Educational Qualification & Working Experience: The requisite qualification of the Accounts Officer must be Masters in Commerce from recognised institute having minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: The Accounts Officer must have expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware of computer systems. Candidates may be put through separate computer test to assess their proficiency in Tally Accounting System.

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential.
Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years and less than 21 years of age as on 1st January’2021.

3. Media Expert
No of posts: 7

Educational Qualification & Working Experience: The qualification of the Media Expert must be Post Graduate in Mass Communication from a recognised institute with candidates having minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: The Media Expert must have expertise in using Internet based applications, working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, related applications and software & hardware computer systems.

Language: Fluency in English and Assamese is essential.
Desirable Skills: Experience of working in complex, multi stakeholder, fast moving environment and ability to work under pressure, strict deadlines and multitasking. Good social, analytical and planning skills; the candidate must show initiative, synthesis, organization and personal dynamism, be self-motivated and should possess ability to work independently as well as in teams.
